  • Dr. Shay Harati, Psy.D.

    Dr. Shay Harati is a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida and New York. She completed her graduate work in California, specializing in child and family psychology.

    Dr. Harati has specialized training in treating and assessing developmental disorders. Her integrative approach is rooted in attachment theory. Her experience working in hospital settings, providing preventive care for parents of children ages 0-5, has given her a deep understanding of early childhood development.

    Dr. Harati combines science-backed interventions with a holistic, attachment-based perspective. She integrates evidence-based therapies such as attachment-focused psychotherapy, Regulation-Focused Psychotherapy for Children (RFP-C), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Play Therapy to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. She also specializes in working with emerging adults who are navigating identity development, relationships, and life transitions.

  • Dr. Alexandra McDowell, Psy.D.

    Dr. Alexandra McDowell is a licensed clinical psychologist in California. For her undergraduate studies, she attended University of California, Davis with a major in psychology and minor in human development. She received her doctor of psychology degree in California.

    Dr. McDowell specializes in treating individuals with anxious and depressive symptoms primarily through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).

    Her expertise also includes comprehensive psychological evaluations and feedback sessions. She utilizes multiple treatment types to create a personalized approach for each individual. With a combination of humor, compassion and understanding, she works with individuals to help build on their strengths and attain personal growth.
